Spacious and beautifully presented accommodation with great cooking facilities and comfortable bed. Perfectly located for endless walks on the South Downs way and Sussex Border path. Loved watching the stars at night!
No access to adjacent field and underfloor heating downstairs would have been a nice addition in winter temperatures.

We had a fantastic Christmas at this cozy cottage! the location was perfect, with so many beautiful walks right on our doorstep. We loved exploring the nearby forest and spotting deer and muntjac. the cottage itself was smart and spacious, with a really comfortable bed that gave us a great night's sleep. the owners were so thoughtful and left us some welcome treats, including goodies for the kids. It was a lovely touch that made us feel right at home.
it would have been great to have access to the adjacent field, but we still enjoyed watching the local pheasants wandering around. these were just minor details that didn't affect our overall enjoyment of the cottage.

This exceptional cottage nestled in the tranquil countryside offers a perfect retreat for couples and small families. the location is ideal, surrounded by endless walks along the South Downs and Sussex Border path. the accommodation is clean and beautifully presented, with comfortable beds and stunning views of the South Downs. the kitchen facilities are great, with all the necessary equipment and condiments provided. the owners even left a lovely welcome treat for us on arrival, making us feel completely at home.
There were some boundary issues with a neighboring dog entering the patio area, causing our dog to bark. It would be helpful if this is addressed to avoid potential conflicts among pets.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at a beautiful cottage just outside of South Harting. The location was perfect for exploring the South Downs, with endless walks right on our doorstep. The cottage itself was spacious, smart, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and we loved waking up to the sight of muntjac and deer in the nearby forest. It was also great that the cottage was dog-friendly, as we were able to enjoy many walks with our furry friend. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received, with tea, coffee, biscuits, and even treats for the children waiting for us upon arrival. The cottage was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and it felt like a true home away from home. We were also impressed by how spotlessly clean everything was, it felt like staying in a brand new home. we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this cottage to couples and small families looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.
Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. It would have been nice to have some rainy day activities like puzzles and board games provided, as we had to use our own.

We had a wonderful two, night stay at this beautiful Annex for my birthday. It was perfect for our family of four, including our 3, year, old and 7, year. the owners went above and beyond with their welcoming treats, including tea, coffee, biscuits, and special treats for the children. the Annex had everything we needed and felt like a brand new home. the surroundings were stunning, with plenty of family, friendly activities nearby, such as row boats and pedelos. We especially loved the peacefulness and cleanliness of the place, and the children enjoyed spotting the cockerels and pheasants in the morning. We would love to visit again!
Nothing, all excellent! 👍.
